Here's a quick necklace I made this week on the fly. It was inspired by the make it take it that Candie Cooper did in the Plaid booth at the Winter CHA Show. (Click Candie's name and zoom in on the picture of Cathie Fillian for a close-up of the original, red version.)I used two 10mm jump rings to connect a Fresh resin pendant from Plaid and a wire-wrapped head pin with two CRYSTALLIZED beads to a length of velour tubing from Beadalon. Attach a quick clasp and - voilá - you're out the door!

You had me at "quick & easy"!! This is a perfect example of making an outstanding piece of jewelry in a short period of time. These are the types of things that I use on unsuspecting non-beaders to get them to cross over to beading! :)
Very sneaky...I like the way you think!
Although it is a simple piece there are a lot of great elements to it. The textures, the color and scale are great. Love that velour tubing... will have to get some of that!
Love it! The simple yet dramatic design is so eye-catching.Can you enlighten us on the clasp? What kind did you use? I can't picture how you would attach it to the tubing. Could just be my foggy newbie brain.
