I went a little crazy at Michaels the other day! Here's a peek inside my shopping bag. Everything has a slightly luminous sheen about it. The metal is sort of brushed, the pearls have a shiny nacre and the glass is faceted or silver-lined. I didn't really have the Pantone Fashion Color Report in mind, but I was drawn to those colors anyway..."Fall is traditionally a time for subdued, quiet colors, but this season we are seeing a shift toward cool hues with bright, exciting undertones," said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. Purple, purple, purple....all over the runways/catwalks during NYC Fashion Week. And you see it all over the street now as well.
