Tips for Multiple Strand Designs:
1. The bead board is your friend. Use the channels to organize the beading pattern before you string it. Play with the arrangement until you're satisfied.
2. Remember that the shortest strand will determine how a graduated multiple strand design fits. A typical 3-strand graduated necklace is: 16", 17" , 18". Cut each piece of beading wire a couple of inches longer to allow for attaching the clasp.
3. Attach a BeadStopper (or adhesive tape or a stopper bead) to the end of the beaded strands so you can hold them up and see how they'll drape before you attach the clasp.
Love the look but feel intimidated about trying it? Start with three strands that are the same length and same color with different shapes of beads. Twist them together. Add an extension chain to the clasp to make the necklace more versatile.
