Here's a sneak peek of my Butterfly Bliss earrings in this month's issue of Simply Beads. They're part of a set that I created for the Fashion Focus column.What you can't really see in this photo is that I tied little pieces of white organza ribbon around the loops below the porcelain links. The ribbon adds a little texture to the earrings and gives them a handmade feel. The ribbon won't last forever but I'll just replace it when it starts looking worn.
I love the way the MOP shell rings and the freshwater pearls complement the porcelain links. There's something about the satiny surfaces that work really well together. Hmm...something to expore...

When I came across these earrings on your blog, they really inspired me. I love the way the porcelain links add length to the earrings. I also really like the crystals hanging inside the MOP shell rings; they really give the earrings another dimension. I really like how all the colours you included tie the earrings together. I also love the great use of different materials. These earrings are definitely a work of art!
