According to the Oxford American Dictionary, a talisman is "an object supposed to bring good luck." This Strong Mama key fob is a motherhood talisman that would make a great gift for new moms or mothers-to-be.The Green Girl Studios pendant has the word "courage" on the back. To me, it's a gentle reminder that birthing (and motherhood!) takes courage but that the baby's sweet little face makes it all worth it.
To make this talisman: Make a wrapped loop to attach a 3" length of 22-gauge wire to a courage doll pendant. Pass the wire through a 6mm Pacific opal Swarovski crystal, silver disk spacer bead, 12mm lampworked borosilicate bead, silver disk spacer bead and 6mm Pacific opal. Make another wrapped loop to attach the beaded wire to a large swivel clip. Use the clip to attach it to a key chain, purse strap or diaper bag.
