Happy Hearts

Here's an early Valentine for you: my Triple Take project from the February issue of Simply Beads. (Click on the link to download the free instructions.)

The clips at the ends make it easy to attach this to a purse or your belt loops, or you could use the design as inspiration for a necklace or bracelet.

Lately, I've been really into the idea of making pieces that are very textured. Whether it's fringe, charms or beaded head pins like these, I'm all about adding dimensional components that take the design beyond beads on a string.

These sweetheart, mixed glass and metal beads are from Jangles. All other materials from Beadalon.

I love this design. Thanks so much for inviting me to join initially and for helping to make this such a cool thing.

Can't wait to see you!

I can't believe how versatile this is! I love the idea of using it as a simple way to jazz up a plain purse (and I love Jangles beads!).
