I think I've mentioned that I love tassels. And, since chain is super versatile, I've been incorporating it into all kinds of jewelry projects. This is a necklace I made for Beads, Baubles & Jewels (click on the link for instructions).
This is an easy necklace idea using pretty basic materials. You could use this method to embellish any donut-style charm or pendant. You use a small length of chain to make a simple bail, and then make a chain tassel to elongate the look.
Just a little over a week until I go to Cleveland to tape the next series of Beads, Baubles & Jewels. The countdown begins!

Nice necklace! Also, I tried to watch your show, but it turns out I can't get it here in Boston since I don't have digital cable... :(
Oh, no! I'm sorry you aren't able to watch it in Boston. You can email your local station to request it - I've been told that they really do listen to viewer requests.
In the meantime, you can watch all of my Beading Lessons segments online at www.beadalon.com and you can see parts of the show at www.howtotvonline.com.
that's really interesting. I love the chain tassel. Should be fun to try out.
