Project instructions are now online for the 7th series of Beads, Baubles & Jewels. This is a multistrand choker and bracelet that I designed for Pure Allure using a combination of rose quartz beads, Swarovski crystals, metal beads & clasps with inset crystals.
It's really two, two, two designs in one because you can wear the pieces separately or you can connect them to make a longer necklace. Bonus!
I like playing around with monochromatic designs because I can explore texture and pattern more freely when I'm not worrying about how the colors look together. Once I have the design worked out, then it's easier to start adding different colors. Sometimes single-color designs pack more of a punch with the fashions, too.
