Selling Your Jewelry

It's that time of year - I can't stop thinking about Christmas shopping and all of my beady friends are blogging about getting ready for the holiday craft show season.

I've done some shows myself and I know that we all need as many pointers as we can get but I was reminded by Liz, who left a comment on an earlier post. Here are links to some helpful advice:

Finding Arts & Crafts Shows and Preparing for Arts & Crafts Shows at Humblebeads Blog
How to Tell a Handmade Jewelry Story at Jewelry-Marketing.com

If you've written a post about selling your handmade jewelry at shows, please share it in the comments. I'd love to add more to this list!

BTW, your new design is GORGEOUS!

Katie-

Nice post on the business of beads. I have an article on our site about pricing, it's here

Obviously, that page hasn't been updated for a while (see the 2005 Spring Trends article to see if I was right!)

I enjoy your blog-

Cynthia

Did my first two craft shows and I was amazed at how much work they are! The last show had many resellers which didn't help the hand crafters there. Any tips on how to compete with those guys? Please give me feedback on my brand new website www.beckysbeadedcreations.com.
Thanks....Becky
