To make the jump rings, I used the Beadalon wire twisting tool to twist gold, pink and black wire together, then I coiled them with the jump ring making tool. I cut the coil apart to make the jump rings. Plain gold jump rings connect the stars to the twisted rings.
I made the twisted jump rings because I wanted to find a way to reinforce the rosy pink color of the Swarovski crystal stars. I wanted it to have a punky look, so additional crystals or other beads were out. The black wire adds a trendy, edgier feeling to the mix. Rock your own style!

I know that so many beaders are interested in jewelry but I am looking for other types of items such as bookmarks, tissue boxes, boxes, or anything out of the jewelry line at this time.
You know, that's a good reminder. I love making beaded gifts and stuff for my home, too. Later this week, I'll post some ideas for non-jewelry beady things.
